What is EXIF Viewer & Stripper?
EXIF Viewer reads the hidden details inside a photo — dimensions and format, camera make and model, lens and focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, the date it was taken and any GPS location — entirely in your browser. GPS coordinates are flagged as sensitive and are never sent to a map service. Download the report as JSON, or save a clean copy without metadata.
View EXIF metadata online and spot GPS location and camera details before you publish or share. Fah Swe Tools reads JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF and TIFF metadata on your device, can save a clean copy, and pairs with Remove EXIF for a photo checked to be GPS-free.

FAQ
Why strip EXIF?
Photos often embed GPS location and device IDs.
Is my photo sent anywhere?
No. The metadata is read in your browser; no map service or server sees your location.
Why is GPS marked sensitive?
Coordinates can reveal where you live or work. Remove them before sharing — Remove EXIF does it and checks the result.
Why doesn't my photo show any EXIF?
Many apps and social networks strip metadata, and screenshots usually have none. The viewer then shows only the file details.
Can I remove the GPS location?
Yes — use Remove EXIF Data, which also checks that no GPS remains.
