Troubleshooting
- The frame won't go where I drag it It can't leave the picture. Make it smaller first, or switch the ratio to Free.
- The cropped image is smaller than I expected A crop keeps the original pixels inside the frame and adds none. Use Resize Image afterwards if you need an exact output size.
- I'm asked to confirm the first frame Animated GIF, WebP and AVIF files hold several pictures. This tool works on one, so it asks before using only the first frame — nothing is flattened silently.
- The page says the image is too large for this device Very large pictures have to fit in your browser's memory. Close other tabs, try a computer instead of a phone, or shrink the picture first with Resize Image.

FAQ
What if crop is out of bounds?
The frame can't leave the picture; typed values are kept inside it.
Can I crop with the keyboard?
Yes. Focus the frame, then use the arrow keys to move it, Shift + arrows to resize, + and − to zoom, and Home to reset.
Does cropping reduce quality?
The crop is cut from your full-resolution original. PNG stays lossless; JPG, WebP and AVIF are saved at the quality you choose (90 by default).
Is my image uploaded?
No. Cropping happens in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
How do I crop a photo to a square?
Pick 1:1 and drag the frame over your subject. The frame keeps its square shape while you resize it.
Can I enter exact pixel values?
Yes. Type X, Y, width and height; the frame follows and stays inside the picture.
