Troubleshooting
- The PNG is much bigger than my JPG PNG is lossless, so photos grow. Choose JPG, WebP or AVIF for photos.
- Transparent areas turned white JPG and BMP have no transparency, so the background colour you pick fills those areas. Use PNG, WebP or AVIF to keep them.
- Text in my SVG looks different Web fonts linked from an SVG are not downloaded, for privacy. Convert text to outlines in your editor.
- I'm asked to confirm the first frame Animated GIF, WebP and AVIF files hold several pictures. This tool works on one, so it asks before using only the first frame — nothing is flattened silently.
- The page says the image is too large for this device Very large pictures have to fit in your browser's memory. Close other tabs, try a computer instead of a phone, or shrink the picture first with Resize Image.

Can I convert HEIC from an iPhone?
Yes. HEIC/HEIF is decoded on your device (natively in Safari, with a self-hosted decoder elsewhere) and can be saved as JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF.
Is SVG conversion safe?
SVG files are treated as untrusted: scripts, event handlers, external links and embedded HTML are removed, and the drawing is rendered as a picture that cannot run code.
What happens to animated GIF or WebP?
Formats like JPG and PNG hold one picture, so you are told before converting and must confirm that only the first frame is used.
Which format should I choose?
