What is Remove EXIF Data?
Remove EXIF Data deletes the hidden information in your photos — GPS location, camera serials, dates, XMP, IPTC and comments — before you share them. JPG, PNG and WebP are cleaned without re-compressing the picture, a before/after table shows what was removed, and the cleaned file is read again on your device so it is only offered when no GPS remains.

FAQ
Is the photo quality reduced?
Not for JPG, PNG and WebP — only the metadata blocks are removed and the picture data is untouched. HEIC, AVIF and TIFF are re-saved as JPG or PNG.
How do I know GPS is gone?
The cleaned file is read back on your device; the result is only offered when no GPS data remains.
Will sideways photos turn the wrong way?
No. The orientation flag is the one tag kept for JPG, so the photo still shows upright.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Reading and cleaning happen in your browser.
Do social networks remove EXIF anyway?
Many do, but messaging apps sending 'documents', email and cloud links often keep it. Cleaning first means you don't have to rely on them.
