Student ID Card Maker — School ID Cards with Photo, QR Code and Exact Print Size

Make printable student ID cards for a whole class — school name, logo and colour, each student's photo, name, class, roll, ID number and blood group on the front, guardian, emergency phone, QR code and the principal's signature on the back — at the exact CR80 card size (85.6 × 53.98 mm), 10 cards to an A4 page with crop marks, in English or Bangla.

Local Processing Your file stays on your device. Processing happens locally in your browser.

Students' photos and details stay in this browser. They are not sent to Fah Swe servers, analytics or any third party, and photos are never saved.

Quick: school details, students, photos and an A4 sheet. Pro adds portrait and custom sizes, the card design, a QR link, 600 dpi, a card-printer PDF, PNG files and saving to a file.

School identity cards only — this tool has no government emblems or national-ID layouts.

School & branding

School logo

Principal's signature

A PNG with a transparent background looks best. The logo and signature stay in this tab only and are never saved.

Students

Select all the photos at once. Each photo goes to the student whose photo file name, ID number, roll or name matches the file name (for example 2026-0801.jpg or 12.jpg). With an empty list, each photo starts a new student.

Import students (CSV or paste from Excel)

First row: column names such as Name, Roll, Class, Section, ID, Blood group, Date of birth, Guardian, Phone, Address, Photo (English or Bangla). Without a header row the columns are read in that order starting with Roll, Name. In Excel use File → Save as → CSV, or copy the cells and paste below.

Photos and student details stay in this browser tab — they are not uploaded or shared. Photos, the logo and the signature are never saved; only the text is kept, and only if you tick the box below.

What is Student ID Card Maker?

Student ID Card Maker prints a whole class's identity cards from one page. Type the school's name, address and phone, add the school logo and the principal's signature, and choose the card colour. Add the students one by one or import the class list from a CSV file or a spreadsheet, then add all the photos at once: each photo is matched to its student by the file name in the list, the ID number, the roll number or the name. Every card shows the photo, name, class and section, roll, ID number, blood group and date of birth on the front, and the guardian, emergency phone, address, a QR code and the signature on the back, in English or Bangla. A live preview shows both sides; zoom or move a photo until the face sits well in the frame. The cards are drawn at 300 dpi at the exact CR80 size (85.6 × 53.98 mm) and placed 10 to an A4 page with crop marks, the backs mirrored on the next page for double-sided printing. Photos never leave your device and are never saved. School identity cards only — no government emblems or national-ID layouts.

    • Front and back: photo, name, class, roll, ID, blood group, date of birth, guardian, phone, address

    Popular uses

    • Print the new session's ID cards for every class in a school or madrasa
    • Make ID cards for a coaching centre's students
    • Reprint a lost card for a single student
    • Send a card-printer PDF to a PVC card printer

    Supported formats

Photos: JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC. Student list: CSV or text pasted from a spreadsheet. Output: A4 or Letter PDF with crop marks, card-printer PDF, PNG files (Pro) and the student list as CSV.

    Troubleshooting

    • The download button stays disabled The summary lists what to fix: type the school's name, give every student a name, and make sure no ID number is used twice.
    • A face is cut off or too small Select the student and use Zoom and Move in the editor; the preview updates at once. A photo marked “low resolution” may print soft — use a larger photo.
    • The backs do not line up with the fronts Print double-sided with “flip on long edge” at 100 %. If your printer shifts the back, choose “Backs on separate pages” in Pro mode and glue or laminate the two sides together.

    How it works

    1. Type the school's name and address, add the logo and the principal's signature, and pick the card colour.
    2. Add students one by one, or import a class list from a CSV file or a spreadsheet, then add all the photos at once — each photo is matched to a student by its file name, ID or roll number.
    3. Check each card in the live front-and-back preview; move or zoom a photo until the face sits well in the frame.
    4. Download an A4 or Letter PDF with crop marks (backs mirrored for double-sided printing); Pro mode adds portrait cards, a card-printer PDF at the exact card size, 600 dpi and PNG files.

    FAQ

Are the students' photos and details uploaded?

No. The cards are drawn in this browser tab; photos and student details are not sent to Fah Swe servers or to any third party. Photos, the logo and the signature are never saved — closing the tab removes them. Only the text is kept on this device, and only if you tick “Save on this device”.

    What size are the cards?

The standard CR80 card size — 85.6 × 53.98 mm (ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1), the size of a bank card — in landscape or portrait, or A7 (74 × 105 mm). Pro mode accepts your own size from 40 to 150 mm. The PDF is checked to be at the exact page size before it is saved; print at 100 % (“Actual size”), not “Fit to page”.

How do I print both sides?

The back of each card is placed in the mirror position on the next page, so double-sided printing with “flip on long edge” lines up the backs with their fronts. You can also put the backs on separate pages and glue or laminate them.

Can I make cards that look like a national ID card?

No. This tool makes school identity cards only, with your school's own name, logo and colours — it has no government emblems or national-ID layouts.

How are the photos matched to the students?

When you add many photos at once, each one goes to the student whose photo column has that file name, or whose ID number, roll number or name equals the file name (for example 2026-0801.jpg or 12.jpg). Photos that match nobody are listed so you can add them by hand. With an empty list, each photo starts a new student named after the file.

Will the cards print at the right size?

Yes, if you print at 100 % (“Actual size”). The PDF pages are A4 or Letter, and every card is placed at 85.6 × 53.98 mm; the page size is checked before the PDF is saved. Print one test page and measure a card with a ruler before printing the whole class.

What does the QR code contain?

By default the student's name, ID number, roll, class and the school's name — the same details printed on the card. In Pro mode it can instead hold a link to your school's own page, with the ID number inserted. Fah Swe does not host any verification service.
