GPA & CGPA Calculator works out semester GPA and cumulative CGPA from the courses, credits and grades you type, under the grading system you choose — Bangladesh UGC uniform 4.00, Bangladesh SSC/HSC GPA 5, a common 4.0 letter scale, or every point and mark range edited by you. University CGPA is total quality points ÷ total GPA credits. School GPA 5 averages core subject points with an optional bonus; a core F is 0. Pass/fail, audit, incomplete, withdrawn and exempt courses are shown honestly and are not mixed into GPA the same way. This is not an official board, UGC or university result. Work stays in this browser; device storage is optional and not encrypted.

How it works

FAQ
Which grading system does it use?
The one you choose. Nothing is assumed: Bangladesh UGC uniform grading (A+ = 4.00), Bangladesh SSC/HSC GPA 5, a common 4.0 letter scale — check your institution's plus/minus values — or your own grades, points and mark ranges.
How is CGPA calculated?
CGPA = total quality points ÷ total GPA credits, where quality points are grade point × credits for every graded course that counts. Pass/fail, audit, incomplete, withdrawn and exempt courses are not in the GPA; pass/fail and exempt credits are still earned.
How are retaken courses handled?
You choose: only the latest attempt counts (common), the best attempt counts, or every attempt counts. Replaced attempts stay on the result sheet, marked “not counted”.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything is calculated in this browser. Saved work stays on this page, or on this device only if you choose it — browser storage is not encrypted and can be cleared, so download a backup.
Does this issue an official result?
No. It calculates from the rows you enter on the scale you chose. Boards and universities publish their own results.
How is university CGPA calculated?
CGPA = total quality points ÷ total GPA credits, where quality points are grade point × credits for graded courses that count. Pass/fail and exempt credits can still be earned without entering GPA.
