What is Financial Reports & Aging?

Run cash versus bank, invoice collections, and receivables/payables aging from the same local finance database. Cash-basis cashbook totals are labelled separately from invoice-basis totals so collections are not double-counted as sales. Net profit stays Incomplete when inventory or COGS data is missing. This report set refuses a fake balance sheet on a single-entry book without a journal.

Key features

  • Date-range cash, collection and aging summaries
  • Cash-basis versus invoice-basis labelled separately
  • AR/AP aging from local invoices and bills
  • Incomplete P&L when costs are missing — no fabricated net profit
  • CSV/PDF export

Popular uses

  • See who is overdue without mixing cash receipts into sales twice
  • Compare drawer cash with invoiced work
  • Export a period pack for offline review

Supported formats

CSV and PDF from fst-finance. Not a certified statutory filing.

Troubleshooting

  • Two sales totals disagree Read the labels: cashbook income is not the same as invoice revenue.

Also known as: AR aging report, Cash versus invoice report, Small-business P&L (incomplete).

How it works

  1. Pick a date range and run cash, collection and aging summaries from your local finance database.
  2. Compare cashbook income with invoice revenue without mixing them into one false sales total.
  3. Export CSV/PDF. Net profit stays Incomplete unless complete cost data exists.

FAQ

Is this a full balance sheet?

No. A3 refuses trial balance and balance sheet claims on a single-entry cashbook without a journal model.

Cash vs invoice totals?

Reports label cash-basis cashbook figures separately from invoice/bill totals so collections are not double-counted as sales.

Same DB?

Yes. Reports read fst-finance shared with Cashbook and Invoices.

Why is profit Incomplete?

Because inventing attractive margins from missing costs would be dishonest.
