FAQ
Does AVIF support transparency?
Yes. AVIF keeps the alpha channel, so logos and cut-outs stay transparent.
Is AVIF better than WebP?
AVIF is usually smaller at the same quality, especially for photos, but takes longer to encode. WebP is faster and very widely supported.
Is my image uploaded?
No. It is decoded, converted and checked in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
