What is Make PDF Searchable?
Make PDF Searchable adds an invisible text layer to scanned pages so Ctrl+F, copy and screen readers work, while each page looks exactly as before. OCR runs in your browser in English, Bangla or both, and pages that already have text are left alone.
Make scanned PDFs searchable without changing how they look. OCR places invisible text behind each page image, so you can search, select and copy — Ctrl+F works again. Pages that already have text are skipped.

FAQ
Will my pages look different?
No. The page images stay as they are; an invisible text layer is placed underneath for search and copy.
What if pages already have text?
Pages that already contain text are skipped by default.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened and processed in your browser; it never leaves your device.
Will the file get bigger?
Slightly — the text layer adds a few kilobytes per page. Run Compress PDF afterwards if needed.
