What is PNG to ICO?
PNG to ICO builds a genuine Windows icon container with one image per size — 16, 32, 48, 64, 128 and 256 px by default — from your PNG, keeping transparency. Non-square images are centred with transparent padding, never stretched. For a full website icon set, the Favicon Generator adds PNGs, an apple-touch icon and a manifest.

Troubleshooting
- Small sizes look blurry Fine detail disappears at 16 px. A simpler mark, or a PNG designed for small sizes, works better.
- The page says the image is too large for this device Very large pictures have to fit in your browser's memory. Close other tabs or use a computer.
- Need a different format? Open the Image Converter — it reads 10 formats and writes 7.
Also known as: PNG to Icon, ICO Maker, Favicon ICO from PNG.
How it works
- Choose a PNG, ideally square with a transparent background.
- ICO is preselected with 16, 32, 48, 64, 128 and 256 px sizes; untick sizes you don't need.
- Convert and download the .ico file.
